"Here's a new poster for the delayed G.I. Joe sequel. I'm guessing that the poster, much like the film itself, now features Channing Tatum way more prominently than it would have if this thing had been released as originally planned." - reports io9.com, and I agree LOLClick HERE to see the "older" poster … you know you want to ;p

G.I.Joe: Retaliation Release Postponed?
Paramount Pictures has delayed the release of their upcoming G.I. Joe: Retaliation feature film until March 29, 2013 - as reported by Comingsoon.net - "a full nine months after its originally planned release date of June 29th." Why? Because the powers-that-be want to convert the film to 3D.
"It is increasingly evident that 3D resonates with movie-goers globally and together with Paramount, we made the decision to bring fans an even more immersive entertainment experience," said Brian Goldner, Hasbro's President and CEO in an official statement.
With the toys being released and now the movie pushed back 3/4 of a year? I am wholly unsure of this makes sense to put a few more bums into cinema seats …something's afoot here besides the conversion delay, and I smell a 'cover-up'… Time will tell - there might well be a few good months of speculation before the movie premieres.

Cobra Special Forces
"The Cobra Special Forces are seeking out members of the community for battle infantry and support. A new viral site for G.I. Joe Retaliation has been launched to see if you qualify for this vast army of evil doing men and women." ~reported MovieWeb.All this is done via Facebook website at www.cobraspecialforces.com - which makes me pause and not carry on (I'm not a huge fan of FB-games where you need to let your profile be violated by external parties, but that's just me…).
Cobra Commander In A Long Coat
And the long black coat fits his slim-frame too. Nice touch, giving the usually sniveling comicbook-character a nice touch of "menace" and danger, even if it's just a long black coat.

Character Posters for G.I.Joe: Retaliation
6 x Joes versus 2 x Cobra = doesn't really seem that "fair", does it? Hoping we'll get to see Firefly, Zartan closing in the ranks for the Villain's side, altho there hardly seems to be a "Baroness" on their side to even up the sexes, isn't it? (Images via Comingsoon.net).

International Banner for G.I.Joe 2: Retaliation
A dramatic downward-looking ROADBLOCK, the O.G. G.I.Joe, a sexy LADY JANE (seems brunettes work better at military-isque films than red-heads, am just sayin') and a half-naked STORM SHADOW - yes, this is the latest "International Banner" for the movie - posted on Brazilian site Juado. *Nice*

Storm Shadow without a Mask
You just know it is a Hollywood-film when a character is unmasked to showcase his/her good looks, something comicbooks could not do LOL

G.I.Joe Retaliation by Hasbro @ New York Toy Fair 2012
G.I.Joe Retaliation toys may not feature the most awesomenest of likenesses, nor kick-ass bodysculpts, tis because they are meant to be played with, aren't they … AREN'T THEY? And if their toy-versions are any indication of their feature-film counterparts, you've got lots of character and costumes revealed right here! But we all know tis all about the combat-vehicles, no? I'd be ignorantly happy with just the vehicles, but logic dictates someone has got to be driving them, ya know? Nothing much to rave over about, but hell excited still to see the film tho! GOOOOOO, JOOOOE!

The Rock and Joe
Something about the buff Dwayne Johnson that adds to the sudden appeal of this movie, and Bruce Willis somehow provides a semblance of "depth" to the proceedings ... ah but the wonders of 'casting' LOL
